Never Run Out of Content Ideas: Build a Question Bank
When you do not know what to post, start by collecting questions people have already asked. A question bank is a practical part of a content system: one place to record the wording, context and ideas you could explain well.
Why questions are the best ideas
A question gives you evidence of one person’s interest. It is a useful starting point, not proof that a whole audience wants the same thing or will pay for an answer. Keep the original context and test whether your explanation helps.
Where to find them
- Your comments and DMs. The questions people already ask you are your most direct source.
- Sales and client conversations. Every objection and clarifying question is content.
- Search and AI prompts. What people type into Google or ask ChatGPT about your topic.
- Your niche’s communities. Recurring questions in forums, groups, and Reddit threads.
- Your own past. The questions you wish someone had answered when you started.
Capture, don’t rely on memory
The whole system is one habit: when you encounter a real question, write it into one place immediately. A note, a doc, a spreadsheet — it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s captured. Over a few weeks you’ll have more content ideas than you can use, all backed by real demand. Then planning a month becomes choosing from a list, not inventing from nothing — exactly what a monthly plan needs.
The AEO bonus
Answer questions clearly because it helps the reader. Google’s guidance says existing SEO practices remain relevant to its AI search features, with no special question-shaped format required. You can observe AI visibilityseparately; a useful answer does not guarantee inclusion or a citation.

Frequently asked questions
How do you never run out of content ideas?
Keep a running bank of questions from comments, DMs, conversations and research. Group them by the problem they address, then choose one you can answer usefully. Review the bank as your audience and knowledge change.
Where do you find the questions for a content bank?
Look at your comments and DMs, client conversations, searches and relevant communities. Record the actual wording and context; a single question is evidence of one person’s interest, not proof of a whole market.
Why is answering questions good for AI search too?
Clear answers can make a page more useful to readers. Google says its existing SEO principles also apply to AI features; it does not promise a citation because a page uses questions and answers.
